H&S Construction & Renovation began in 2018, when founder Sean decided to shift from real estate into his true passion — building and transforming homes. What started as a small family-run operation quickly grew into a trusted renovation company serving Sumner and the surrounding community.

Today, we’re proud to offer more than just construction services. With a full showroom in Sumner and a team of in-house interior designers, we help homeowners not only design their dream spaces but also choose the perfect materials to make them a reality.     Sean has spent the past eight years immersed in construction and home renovation, steadily building his expertise and vision. What started with decks and roof repairs has grown into a thriving Sumner-based business specializing in home additions, kitchens, baths, and complete transformations.

    At the showroom, clients can explore cabinets, countertops, flooring, and more — resources that reflect Sean’s commitment to quality and choice. He takes pride in meeting with homeowners, listening to their goals, and guiding them from the first design conversation to the final reveal. With his talented team, Sean helps clients balance budget, functionality, and design to turn dream spaces into reality.

    Outside of work, Sean enjoys life in Sumner with his wife and two young sons. He loves running, working in the yard, fishing, and going on adventures with his family.

    Mariah has been part of H&S Construction & Renovation since the very beginning in 2018, walking alongside Sean as the business grew. After the arrival of their second son, in 2023, she stepped more fully into her role as administrator and designer.

    Mariah is passionate about coming alongside clients to listen to their dreams for a space and helping bring those visions to life. She loves collaborating with Sean and Nathan to thoughtfully source materials and furnishings that not only complement a client’s style but also enhance the function and flow of their home. From creating the first mood board to the excitement of the final reveal, she finds joy in guiding clients through each stage with care and creativity.

    What Mariah values most is helping people merge their vision with their existing space—elevating it in ways that feel both practical and uniquely theirs.

    Outside of her work at H&S, Mariah enjoys gardening, baking, reading, and running. She and Sean also lead their church small group together, and she loves time spent adventuring with their family.

    Nathan joined the H&S team in 2023, bringing a wealth of organizational expertise and planning skills that have elevated our operations and set us apart in the construction world. With a strong background in cabinetry and construction, Nathan adds invaluable insight and craftsmanship to every project.

    As Project Manager, Nathan collaborates closely with our team and clients to turn dreams into reality. He truly shines once demo day arrives and the work is underway, coordinating every detail with precision. From demolition to plumbing, electrical, trim out, and the final reveal, Nathan expertly manages schedules, materials, and timelines. His use of Buildertrend keeps clients updated daily with the latest job site information, ensuring a transparent and seamless experience.

    Outside of work, Nathan enjoys spending time with his wife, Joy, and their six children. A lifelong Star Wars fan, he’s always ready for a good board game and never tires of rewatching The Office.

    Ed has been an essential part of H&S Construction & Renovation since 2021, serving as our Logistics Manager. He’s the go-to guy who makes sure every project has what it needs, when it needs it — keeping the team running smoothly and our clients’ projects on track.

    Known as the person you can always count on, Ed is just a phone call away whenever support is needed. His dedication and problem-solving skills keep jobs moving forward with ease.

    Outside of work, Ed loves spending time with his grandkids — whether they’re fishing, barbecuing, or shooting hoops together.
