H&S Construction & Renovation began in 2018, when founder Sean decided to shift from real estate into his true passion — building and transforming homes. What started as a small family-run operation quickly grew into a trusted renovation company serving Sumner and the surrounding community.

Today, we’re proud to offer more than just construction services. With a full showroom in Sumner and a team of in-house interior designers, we help homeowners not only design their dream spaces but also choose the perfect materials to make them a reality. Whether you’d like us to manage your remodel from start to finish, or you prefer to DIY with our products and guidance, we’re here to support you every step of the way.

As a family-owned business, we believe in honest service, quality craftsmanship, and treating every project like it’s for our own home. We’re proud to call Sumner home and look forward to serving our neighbors for years to come.

Who are we?

Our Commitment

to People and Craftsmanship:

At H+S Construction & Renovation, we believe great construction starts with people. While quality craftsmanship is a given, our true mission is building lasting relationships—grounded in trust, integrity, and respect. Every project is more than a job; it’s an opportunity to serve our clients, team, and community with care and commitment.

 Our Values

Built with a Market Advantage:

Our real estate background gives clients a unique advantage. Whether you’re preparing a property for sale or planning an investment renovation, we align our construction approach with market dynamics — ensuring each project is not just beautifully built, but strategically smart. You get more than quality work; you get expert guidance that adds long-term value.

A Culture That Builds Better:

We’re challenging the industry’s reputation for disorganization and distrust. At H+S, we foster a culture built on respect, transparency, and compassion — where every team member is valued, from employees to subcontractors.

Our standards are high, but our approach is supportive. We put people before profit, and ethics before shortcuts. That mindset shows in the pride we take in our work, and the satisfaction our clients feel when it’s done

What our clients have to say:

What really stood out was how flexible and informative they were throughout the entire process. As first-time remodelers, we had a lot of questions, and they always took the time to explain each step and make sure we felt confident in every decision.

They delivered beautiful, high-quality work, stayed on schedule and budget, and completely transformed our kitchen into a space we love. On top of all that, they were just great humans—kind, respectful, and genuinely a pleasure to work with.“
